Grab Bag
MATERIALS:
Any assortment of toys the games committee wishes to give as picnic favors.
1. As many favors as there are participants are placed along a line parallel to and about thirty feet 2. from A starting line. This is a race for the pick of the favors.
3. Each child is entitled to only one favor, and should be impressed with that fact.

This may not seem like much of a contest, since each child is going to get a favor whether he or she is first or last in the race. But as long as favors are being given anyway, why not make a game of the distribution? The children would rather race for their presents than have them handed out. back to picnic games
