Product Care:
- Clean Glazed and Terra Cotta planters with mild soapy water. Spray the dirty surface with water and wipe it with a soft cloth or sponge. Repeat until the planter is completely clean. Do not pressure wash, use alcohol-based cleaners, apply corrosive cleaners, or clean with anything abrasive.
- No planter is completely frost-proof. Freeze-thaw cycles in winter can cause the water inside to freeze and expand, leading to cracks. It's best to store planters in a dry location, away from the elements. The glazed and terracotta planters have pre-installed drainage holes. To prevent debris from clogging these holes, cover them with a mesh screen. Fill the bottom with non-porous drainage material, then add a well-draining soil mix. Finally, top with decorative mulch or pine bark to discourage water pooling.
